About Gabrielle

Born in London, I attended South Hampstead High School before going to Trinity College Cambridge to study Law. After graduating I followed my passion and went to drama school and became an actress.  My acting career took off and I was lucky enough to play great roles for the  RSC and National Theatre. When my kids came along I stepped back and found a new passion in teaching. Since then I have gained a PGCE from The Institute of Education UCL, taught for some years in an outstanding Primary and built a successful tutoring and consultancy business.

I have taught children in Primary School for many years (both KS1 and KS2) and have successfully tutored children for entry into selective state and independent schools including Highgate, Henrietta Barnet, Westminster, St Paul's Girls and Boys, City of London Boys and Girls, North London Collegiate, UCS, Sevenoaks and many more. I  prepare students for the 7+, 8+, 9+, 10+, 11+ and 13+.

I now also teach secondary age children in maths up to GCSE and English up to and including GCSE English Language.

I have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate.

Kind Words

Gabrielle makes learning fun and now I'm in the top maths set at school!

Drama Background

Gabrielle used drama techniques to increase my son's confidence. This really helped him in his interviews.

She really knows her stuff. We were lucky to have found her!

We thought tutoring would be stressful but actually it's made things so much easier.
